Crowns and Bridges

A crown is necessary when there is not enough natural tooth structure to retain a restoration (filling). A crown is used to restore the tooth to its proper anatomical shape.
A crown can have different functions such as changing the color or misalignment of your natural teeth. A crown fully covers the tooth and can make a tooth stronger as well as prevent premature tooth loss.

A bridge is simply three or more crowns connected together to replace a missing tooth.

Veneers

Veneers are thin shells of porcelain or resin that are bonded to the surface of the teeth. Veneers offer a painless and conservative treatment option for patients when they are dissatisfied with the appearance of their smile. Typically, veneers are used to correct discolored teeth, misshapen teeth, damaged teeth or misaligned teeth. Veneers improve the aesthetics of your teeth and smile.

Dental Bonding

Tooth bonding or dental bonding is the application of tooth-colored material to a tooth . The resin material can be shaped and polished to match the surrounding teeth. Tooth bonding improves the appearance of a chipped or discolored tooth or teeth. Dental bonding can also be used to close spaces between teeth or to change the shape or color of teeth. Today, metal-free fillings are becoming the preferred approach. In the past, the standard of care was the amalgam filling .Metal fillings or amalgams do not bond well to teeth and so decay can and does eventually leak into the tooth. The advantages to using tooth colored materials like composite resins and porcelain are that they are both safe and predictable. They are also natural looking in appearance and can actually strengthen your teeth.
